Giant Bubble recipe

Here is the recipe for the giant bubbles, I doubled it so it would go in the water trough.

Giant bubble recipe
6 cups water
1/2 cup dish detergent
1/2 cup corn flour
1 tbsp baking powder (not baking soda)
1 tbsp Glycerine

Dissolve the cornflour in the water, stirring really well.  Then gently stir in the remaining ingredients.  Avoid creating a lot of froth.  Allow your mixture to sit for at least an hour, stirring occasionally if you see the corn flour settling to the bottom.  Some of ours continued to settle even while we played with it, but it was fine.

Here is a picture of the wands that I found on google images.
We only had bendy straws which we annoying, straight ones like these would have been better. Plus ours were skinny, so the technique was - thread the wool into a straw then suck the other end of the straw to pull it through. If you are unlucky and sucked too hard you end up with a mouth (or throat) full of wool. Lots of giggling!
