Easter Fun!!
Today we did 5 fun Easter activities. Decorating biscuits like Easter eggs Making rabbit ears Making Easter baskets Rabbit craft Make Making an Easter card The children were working in their house groups and rotated around the activities.

How to help at home with reading
Today we had our 2 sessions for parents about how to help at home with reading. It was great to see you parents! There are some useful websites which we use at school which you can have a look at (which I forgot to mention in the booklets we sent home.)

ICT games (this has both literacy and numeracy games on it) www.ictgames.com
Keyboard climber (this helps children to learn the location of the letters on the keyboard and to match upper and lower case letters) www.tvokids.com/games/keyboardclimber
Sparkle Box -this has lots of resources, games and worksheets that can be printed www.sparklebox.co.uk
Shortly we will be giving children log ins to use on sites such as Bug Club and Studyladder which provide learning material geared towards your child's particular level. We hope to catch up with you at our parent/child/teacher sharing sessions on April 6th and 7th.
