WBS clean up
Hub 1 has been learning all about Protecting our School
Mrs Plane's group worked on ways we can Protect our School from Rubbish. The children made posters and we worked on this video to show how important it is to keep our lovely Welcome Bay School rubbish free.

Some of the children with the most Heart Points were invited to have a Pancake Breakfast - Mr Silby, Miss M and Mrs Plane were busy flipping some strange looking pancakes! But they tasted yummy!

Reading fun
In First Flight we do lots of different activities during reading time to practise our alphabet sounds, sight words, blends and chunks of sound and letter formation. Today in Kopukapuka the children were magic writing their weekly words, doing a 'ch' blend hunt, and practising the 'all' word family. Toe Toe were having fun playing sight word and alphabet matching games, listening to stories on the iPads and practising their sight words on mini whiteboards. Great work guys!
